 1  - ASSESSMENTS & TECHNIQUE

 

Whether a client is a beginner or has been training long term, Technique is focussed in the first phase. Assessments include Posture Analysis, GAIT, Range of Motion, and Physical Tests.

Clients are taught how to "Bullet Proof their Shoulder", glute & core activation, foot positioning, and how to engage their body in any exercise performance. 

2 - MUSCLE BALANCE

 

Most clients will have a muscle imbalance to some degree, and upon correcting will make a significant difference will their lift performance. Following assessments and analyzing movement patterns, the first phase of the programming focuses on targeting the weaker areas and gaining muscle balance. This results in improved posture and improved body mechanics. 

3 - INCREASE STRENGTH

When technique and muscle balance improves, the next phase of programming is targeted at increasing overall strength. Functional training using Barbell and Dumbells is the primary focus, with machine work and isolated muscle groups secondary. Did I mention this is the fun part? ;-)

4 - HIT GOALS

Clients at this stage have the confidence to lift weights safely, knowing how to Squat, Hinge, Pull, Push, and use their core. Trianing goals become easily achieved because their body is in balance and the client is now in a phase increasing the intensity of their training. This leads to their goals being met.

NUTRITION COACHING

NUTRITION COACHING
 

WHAT IS IT?

Clients are taught the value of MACROs and how to view food for their Nutrition value. A calculation of Protein, Fats, and Carbs is provided based on a personalized approach and the calories set for the client. 

In order to gain the desired results, clients are required to -

  • Track Food Daily using MyFitnessPal

  • Weekly Check-Ins with Coach

  • 6-week Weigh-In & Measurements with Coach

WEIGHT LOSS

Reduce Body Fat / Lifestyle Change

 

A realistic deficit with a strategy to achieve long-term lifestyle changes. Learn what a serving size really is, the difference between good carbs and discretionary foods, and why we need macros balanced for optimal health. Clients will have an understanding of food and how it affects the metabolism, hormones, and digestive system. The main goal is to make healthier choices but to feel there's enjoyment with the adapted lifestyle change while loving the results that follow.

MUSCLE GAIN

Increase Body Mass / Sports Specific / MACRO Targets

 

A personalized calculation of Calories & MACRO's. Clients will learn how to do their own meal planning and balance their MACRO's accordingly. A realistic approach is taken discussing ideal food choices, supplements, and fluids according to the training volume.

INCREASE ENERGY

Lifestyle Change / Nutrition Knowledge / Reduce Fatigue

 

Clients are required to document their food for a week. Based on the observations, goals are set which will include calorie goals, focusing on grams for protein, fats, carbs, and fibre. No more guessing, just knowing what better food choices to have and how to use them. A medical check-up is advised for any underlying issue.
